Airedale dog rescue organizations rely on donations to care for the dogs in their shelters.

Many Airedale rescues have foster programs that allow volunteers to open their homes to a rescue dog, providing a temporary and loving environment until a permanent home is found.

The average cost to care for an Airedale in a rescue shelter is around $500 per month, which includes food, veterinary care, and supplies.

With so many Airedales in need, every donation counts.

Moxie Needs a Home

Moxie is a 5 year old Airedale who is currently being fostered in Rhode Island. She's a big, strong, sweet dog who loves people.

She's crate trained and loves her crate, which is a great asset for any new owner. Her previous owner had three kids who adored her, and she's very affectionate.

Moxie loves chest skritches, ear skritches, and under the chin rubs - she'll even give you kisses while you're giving her attention. She's also very good in the car.

She's not perfect, though - she will seek out food if it's left unattended. But with some training and patience, she can learn to wait for her meals.

Moxie loves toys and plays a fun game of half-fetch, where she'll pick up a ball but not bring it back. She's also very responsive to commands, especially "DROP IT" when she's got something in her mouth.

Adoption Process

We get to know the dogs in a home environment, which helps us understand their personalities and needs. This allows us to make more informed recommendations about which dog might be the best fit for your family.

The team has decades of experience working with Airedales, and we've learned a thing or two about what makes them tick. We've had to cope with the reality that we can't keep all the wonderful Airedales who need homes.

Please be patient with us, as we take the time to find the perfect match for your family. We know it's not always easy, but we want to make sure the dog settles happily into their new home.

We'll be honest with you if your situation is rare, making it unlikely for us to have a Rescue dog that fits your profile. This isn't a reflection on you or your ability to provide a loving home.

Our goal is to place our dogs in forever homes, where they'll receive the love and care they deserve. We want to spare you and the dog any heartache that might come with a placement that doesn't work out.
