AKC Dog Shows Washington State Upcoming Events and Details

If you're a dog enthusiast in Washington State, you're in luck - the AKC has a plethora of dog shows happening throughout the year. With multiple events taking place across the state, you're sure to find one near you.

The American Kennel Club (AKC) has announced its Western Washington 2022 Summer Cluster of Dog Shows, taking place at the Washington State Fair Event Center in Puyallup.

The three-day event will feature three different dog shows, each showcasing a different breed of dog.

The dog shows will take place from July 9-11, with a different show on each day. July 9 will display the Puyallup Valley Dog Franciers Kennel Club all-breed show, July 10 will be the Seattle Kennel Club Dog Show, and July 11 will be the Gig Harbor Kennel Show.

A total of 164 breeds will be featured, with about 1,500 dogs entered in each show.

The shows will include various events, such as Obedience Trials and Temperament Testing, as well as three AKC All Breed Conformation Shows.

Puppies ranging from 4 to 6 months old will compete in the AKC’s PUPPY Competition, held at noon on Saturday and Monday.

Admission for the shows is free, but parking for a single day is $8 and $20 for the weekend.
