The Brussels Griffon is a small but mighty breed that's been making waves at the Westminster Dog Show. This charming companion has a rich history dating back to the 16th century in Belgium.

They're known for their distinctive bearded face and short, smooth coat that comes in a variety of colors including black, belge, and red.

At the Westminster Dog Show, a Brussels Griffon named Gaston took top honors, proving that this breed is more than just a pretty face.

Brussels Griffon Wins National Dog Show

Newton, a Dynamic Brussels Griffon, won the National Dog Show Presented By Purina. He is an 11-pound charmer with 22 Best in Show Titles and top-five national rankings in both the breed and the Toy Group.

Newton bested six group-winning canines advancing out of the 2,100-dog competition at the tradition-rich, all-breed show hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia. His handler, Susan DePew, praised Newton's wonderful attitude, saying everything is fun to him, which shows.
