About Us
We're a family-owned business that's been passionate about dog sledding for over two decades. Kris Hoffman, our founder, has been an Iditarod Musher and race veteran since 1996.
Kris moved to Steamboat in 1996 to pursue his love for skiing and guiding outdoor adventures. He started mushing the same year and has never looked back.
Our guiding team includes Kris, his wife Sara, and their children Hadley and Hunter. Sara has been guiding and mushing with us since 2003 and loves sharing the joy of dog sledding with our guests.
We're proud to have been operating Grizzle-T Dog & Sled Works for 22 years, and we're grateful to have the opportunity to share this "Forgotten Way of Life" with all our guests.
