Puppy Training

At Happy Tails Dog Training, they understand that bringing home a new puppy can be overwhelming. New puppy owners face challenges like nipping, chewing, and house-training.

Their Puppy Class provides the skills necessary for your puppy to be a true family member, covering successful house-training solutions, ways to address jumping up, nipping, chewing, and mouthing, socialization skills, and foundation behaviors for success in real life.

The class is designed for puppies aged 10 weeks to 6 months for medium to large breeds, and 10 weeks to 12 months for small breeds.

Happy Tails Dog Training Facility offers classes for puppies aged 6 to 24 months old, provided they have completed the Puppy Class or Basic Manners class, or have completed other approved training with Happy Tails.

If you've already completed the Puppy Class, you can build on your puppy's skills with the Advanced Puppy Class, which continues to improve focus and response in distracting situations, leash manners, and ways to get your puppy to settle and relax on cue.

Basic Training

At Happy Tails Dog Training, we understand that every dog is unique, but some common challenges can be overcome with the right training. If your puppy is ignoring you, stealing things, refusing to come, pulling on leash, or jumping on everyone, our Basic Manners class can help.

This class provides the skills necessary for your dog to be well-mannered in real life situations. You'll learn how to resolve behavior issues like jumping up and teach a reliable response to coming when called.

The class is suitable for medium to large breed dogs 6 months and older, small breed dogs 12 months and older, and any adult dog with no prior manners training.

Basic Manners classes are a great way to resolve common behavioral issues in dogs, such as jumping up and pulling on the leash.

Day

If you want your dog to be home with you every night, but still get daily training, Day Training is the perfect program. You can drop your dog off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon or evening.

Your dog will receive multiple training sessions throughout the day. They'll be playing and socializing with other dogs when they're not training.

At the end of each week, you'll have one private lesson with one of your trainers. This is a great opportunity to review what your dog has learned and get personalized feedback.

Group Training
