Adrian Stoica and Hurricane the Dog Shine on AGT

Hurricane is a 15-year-old Belgian Malinois with an all-black coat and 4 titanium teeth. He was born on April 26, 2009, in Europe.

Hurricane served with the U.S. Secret Service's Emergency Response Team, a unit within the Special Operations Division, for four years. He protected the President of the United States, the vice president, their families, and visiting dignitaries.

Hurricane's handler was Officer Marshall Mirarchi, with whom he served for four years. Hurricane was given the go-ahead by Officer Mirarchi to intercept an intruder on October 22, 2014.

The intruder had scaled the perimeter fence of the White House and was heading towards the residence. Despite being punched, kicked, and swung around, Hurricane kept a hold until armed officers were able to apprehend the intruder.

Hurricane was awarded the USSS Award for Merit, the DHS Award for Valor, the PDSA Order of Merit, and AMC Top Dog in 2016. He also received the Animal's in War and Peace Distinguished Service Medal in 2022, which landed him in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Hurricane retired from the U.S. Secret Service on September 20, 2016, and was adopted by his handler, Marshall Mirarchi.
