If you're passionate about supporting a good cause, consider lending a hand to the Mid Atlantic English Springer Spaniel Rescue efforts. They rely on donations to care for the dogs in their program.
The rescue organization has a network of foster homes across the Mid Atlantic region, providing temporary care for over 100 dogs each year. This allows them to rehabilitate and socialize the dogs before finding them forever homes.
Donations can be made directly to the rescue organization, which uses them to cover the costs of veterinary care, food, and other essential expenses. Every little bit counts, and your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of these deserving dogs.

Rescue Fundraising
The Mid-Atlantic English Springer Spaniel Rescue Organization (MAESSR) is a nonprofit volunteer organization that's dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing English Springer Spaniels.
Funding from the Grey Muzzle Organization grant will enable MAESSR to provide a Seniors for Seniors adoption program, allowing adults age 60+ to adopt senior dogs.
MAESSR is active in PA, DE, NJ, MD, VA, WV, NC, NY, and the District of Columbia, but will rescue English Springer Spaniels anywhere.
The Seniors for Seniors adoption program will provide senior dogs with medical and dental treatment upon rescue and supplement reduced adoption fees.
Registration for the Captain's Choice Golf Tournament fundraiser is still open, and interested people can register by Friday.
Entry costs $65 per individual and $260 per team, with registration covering green fees, a cart, practice balls, and an all-American cookout lunch.
Funds raised through the golf tournament are used only for the dogs' rescue, foster, and care.

Get Involved
With over 600 volunteers strong, you can be part of a dedicated team working together to make a difference in the lives of English Springer Spaniels.
Each team functions within defined parameters and answers to coordinators who oversee the work of that specific team, making it a well-organized group of committed volunteers.
You can adopt a dog from MAESSR and be matched with a dog best suited to succeed in your family's environment, after going through extensive interviews.
MAESSR attempts to help all owners of English Springer Spaniels, regardless of affiliation or geographic region.
You can also volunteer with MAESSR and be part of a team that works to rehome and rehabilitate English Springer Spaniels.
The organization is very careful about placement, interviewing you and checking with your veterinarian to ensure you'll provide good care for the dog you want to adopt.
MAESSR has a fantastic follow-up system, and once a dog is brought into the organization, it remains a part of the organization for as long as it lives.
