Rottie Rescue NC is a lifeline for Rottweilers in need. They take in dogs from shelters and other rescue groups, giving them a second chance at a happy life.

Their team is made up of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to care for the dogs and find them forever homes. Rottie Rescue NC relies on donations to continue their life-saving work.

The organization has a network of foster homes across North Carolina, providing a safe and loving environment for the dogs until they can be adopted.

What We Do

At Rottie Rescue NC, we're dedicated to saving Rottweilers and Rottie mixes from neglect, loss, and homelessness. Our mission is to provide a safe and loving home for every dog in need.

We've made significant progress in our mission, having saved over 350 Rottweilers and/or Rottie mixes as of October 2018. We're currently working to find new homes for dogs affected by Hurricane Florence.

Direct beneficiaries of our work are the Rottweilers and Rottie mixes themselves, with over 25+ dogs finding new homes each year. We also support more than 20 families in the process.

Our geographic area of focus is the Carolinas and Virginia, where we work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of these amazing dogs.

We achieve our mission through the rescue, rehabilitation, and careful re-homing of neglected, lost, surrendered, or otherwise homeless Rottweiler dogs.

Community Impact

Rottie Rescue NC is making a significant impact in the community by rescuing and rehoming Rottweilers in need.

Their foster network has grown to include over 200 families who provide temporary homes for Rottweilers awaiting adoption.

Thanks to the efforts of Rottie Rescue NC, many Rottweilers have found forever homes, with some even being adopted by families with children.

Their adoption process is thorough, involving an application, phone screening, and home visit to ensure the best match for both the dog and the family.

Rottie Rescue NC also provides resources and support to adopters, including training and behavioral guidance.
