Treo, a talented dog, was born with a unique ability to detect seizures in his owner.
Treo's incredible talent was discovered when he was just a puppy, and he quickly became a certified service dog.
As a puppy, Treo was already showing signs of being an exceptional dog, with his owner noting that he would "snuggle up close" and "whine" before a seizure occurred.
Treo's exceptional abilities and gentle nature made him a beloved companion and a trusted service dog.

Early Life
Treo was donated to the Army due to his general behaviour issues and tendency to snap and growl at people.
He began a 12-week training course at the Defence Animal Centre to address his issues.
Treo was deployed to Northern Ireland for three years with his first handler after completing his training.
His first handler eventually left the Army, and Sergeant Dave Heyhoe took over control of Treo.

Treo's Achievements
Treo is a highly decorated dog, having received the prestigious PDSA Dickin Medal, also known as the Animal Victoria Cross.
He saved countless soldiers' lives, including his handler Sergeant Dave Heyhoe's, by sniffing out insurgents' bombs in Afghanistan.
Treo's sharp nose and instincts made him a valuable asset to the military.
He prevented major loss of life on two occasions in the space of weeks during a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Treo located a "daisy chain" IED, an improvised explosive device, that had been wired to cause multiple explosions and booby-trapped to go off as infantrymen passed.
The device was cunningly concealed by the Taliban at a roadside regularly used by soldiers.
Treo's bravery and skill earned him the respect and admiration of his handler and fellow soldiers.
He was honored by HRH Princess Alexandra in 2010 for his outstanding acts of bravery.
Treo's memory endures through a life-size statue being made in his honor and a tattoo that his handler Sergeant Heyhoe has on his leg.
Sergeant Heyhoe considers Treo a true soldier friend and feels safe when he is by his side.
